Command V presents the single "Hello," from the group’s stark, self-titled bedroom disco debut. Accompanying the original song are six phenomenal remixes, from established dance music remixers, up-and-coming electronic acts, and living legends, which all use Cynthia Sley's lead vocal to varying effect. Phil Kieran and Moscow turn in mixes that are sharp and minimal and that every modern tech-house DJ will want to add to their virtual crates. Brothertiger and Teen Daze represent the next wave of electronic acts who have made huge strides for themselves on cutting edge blogs and next-generation lists for magazines like Fader and The Guardian. Finally, Liquid Liquid mastermind, Sal P. and Command V's own Pat Irwin (of 8-Eyed Spy and The Raybeats) show they have not lost the smallest percent of their touch to turn out great music. With the equally arresting video by band member member Rachel Dengiz, "Hello" shows once again that Command V is a group operating at the top of their game. Cover photo by Jim Jarmusch.
