"Riverbed" is the debut single from sibling artists, Sea Oleena and Felix Green, recording together as Holobody. A beautiful hymn signifying death and rebirth, the track's masterful production kicks off with a measure of beatbox before acoustic guitars and shuffling drums set the mood. Male and female vocals play off each other beautifully: "And when I die/Take my body to the riverside/Let the water wash me clean/Let me go join the stream" is answered by "Meet me on the riverbed." The track builds to a bridge of unexpected rapping from Sea Oleena before she switches back to the haunting vocal tones she used to great effect earlier. Three remixes accompany the original. Montreal's Zachary Gray smoothes the track out, adding soft electric piano and low-key electronics. Pregnant's remix is expectedly off-kilter as he adds loops of instrumentation to the vocals creating a swirling psychedelic dream-state. Finally, Felix Green takes another approach to his own work, stripping away most of the vocals and changing the song from a hymn-like meditation to a twisted beat heavy track throbbing with bass.
