To mark the release of the stellar video for "Peanut Butter & Patience," Deru has put together an EP containing the album mix and remixes by three fellow progressive electronic-hip-hop travelers. Brainfeeder Records' Lorn takes first crack at the track. He doubles down on the percussive feel of the original, gets loose with the synths, and gives the track a space-age sheen. Los Angeles' The Great Mundane proves to be anything but that, switching time signatures and moods while keeping it gritty and loose enough to never feel academic. Ginormous shows off his downtempo beat-making skill, making the track into something familiar, yet entirely new. "Peanut Butter & Patience" will give the beat heads and the chin-scratchers alike cause for excitement.
